My GOAL Journal
I can't take credit for this original idea, I think I saw it first on the CTMH Facebook art page, and changed the design to make it my own. I find that setting goals helps me to stay focused on what I need to accomplish. So I wanted to create something fun and artsy to keep track of my goals, so I know when I have met them. My goal journal uses a My Creations Journal (#Z1268, $7.95) which has a clear pocket on the front cover with 75 unlined pages inside. Next, I used the Wishes (#9033, $21.95) Cardmaking Program to design a 5x7 card (Pattern: Bullseye) to fit the front of my journal. I doubt I have to tell you the paper used is from the Dreamin' (#X7142B, $9.95) paper packet...you all know by now, it's MY favorite! LOL The stamp sets used are the Dreamin workshop stamp set, A Typeface alphabet (offered last month when you purchased the August SOM), and the Bohemian Alphabet set (#E1019, $29.95). I used Shimmer Brads (#Z1349, $4.95) and Antique Copper Bigger Brads (Metals Assortment-#Z1366, $4.95) for embellishments. Lastly, I used scraps of coordinating ribbon to tie over the spine...and Ta-Da!

Event Calendar TOPPERS workshop
Here's another OLDIE but GOODIE when it comes to gift giving ideas! That's right, it's that time of year again, and if you're like me...you want to make something personal to give to a friend, neighbor, or teacher as the holidays roll around. This artwork was CASE'd from a fellow CTMH consultant, Jen Rubio. I loved how she was able to use each image from the Pair-a-Phrase stamp set, and also used a nice sampling of our new cardstock weight B&T papers...why re-create the wheel, when Jen did such a fabulous job!
(Click on image to enlarge to see more detail)
Use the Event Calendar to record all the birthdays, anniversaries, and important dates you need to remember. The Event Calendar can be used year after year. Each topper uses images from the Pair-a-Phrase stamp set and Black Mini Medleys fro accents. I'll have papers pre-cut, so all you need to do is stamp and color your images, and assemble. Each Topper kit includes pre-cut papers, Black Mini Medleys (#Z1393, $5.95) and Event Calendar (#Z126, $8.50) for $20. I will supply my markers for coloring, or you may choose another coloring method of your choice.
My workshop is Saturday, October 8th from 1-4pm or 6-9pm. Registration required - contact me to attend. Kits are available pre-stamped too, for an additional $5 and completed (stamped, colored & assembled) for an additional $10.
This makes a GREAT gift idea for the holidays!

Cherish the Day card
This card is really two card designs in one. Read on!
Here's a birthday card I made for a new friend, Happy Birthday Deb! It uses the Elemental papers (#X7141B, $9.95) and the Elemental Complements (#X7141C, $4.95) which are printed chipboard shapes. The stamp set is the upcoming November Stamp of the Month (only available in November).
I started out by creating the focal point (which measures 4-3/4x3) from a Wishes design (City Scape), but wanted to end up with a standard size card. So, I found another design in Originals (A Heartfelt Classic) and created the card base so I could attach my focal point on it. Now...when you see a small card, think of this technique and re-create it into a larger card with a focal point. Give it a try!

3-D Candy Treat
Everyone enjoys receiving unexpected little gifts. Here's a fun little candy treat you can give to anyone...just because! I gave these to my workshop members last week. Chocolate always puts a smile on someone's face!
(Remember - you can click on photos to enlarge to see more detail)
And they are so easy to make - take a 4-1/4" X 4-1/2" piece of cardstock, on the 4-1/2" side, score at 1-1/4", 2-1/2", 3-3/4". Then decorate! Here, I used the Dreamin' Workshop stamp set (and papers) to make the flower, and the saying "for you". I covered 3 Hershey Nuggets (or you can add 4-5 Hershey's Kisses too)for the inside treat.

Assortment of Artwork
A few years ago, our team started a tradition by having a ShoeBox swap at the beginning of each new release of the Idea Book. It's a great way to have artwork showing off new papers and new stamp sets. Each of us creates a card, and provides materials for others to make one too. I love seeing all the artwork, and taking time to recreate each of them...so fun! Some of us CASE'd the artwork in the Idea Book for our cards...can you find them? (Click on the photo to enlarge it to see more detail)

Thank You using Dreamin' paper
I love the fall season, and I think this card just speaks fall! One of my favorite papers in the Autumn/Winter Idea Book is the Dreamin' pack, and you can tell by my last few posts that I'm consumed with using my scraps from Dreamin'. This card uses the Dreamin' Workshop stamp set too...it's only available when you purchase the Dreamin' Workshop on the Go kit (#G1027, $29.95). I also used the embellishments included in the WOTG kit - Shimmer Designer Brads (#Z1349, $4.95), Bronze Glitz Glitter Gel (#Z1483, $2.75), I love this stuff...it's like bling in a bottle!

As we mark the 10 year anniversary of the attack on America, let us never forget those who lost their lives in this tragedy, and continue to pray for those fighting for our country.
God Bless America.

Birthday Card
September and October are BIG months for birthdays within my circle of friends...including myself! So, I'll be busy creating a ton of cards...don't worry, I will share my creations with you too. Heck, who doesn't need some inspiration for birthday cards...right? This card was inspired by my good friend Shari (Hi Shari!), who sent me a birthday card last year. I've wanted to recreate it and it's only taken me nearly a year to get to it! I updated it, using paper from the Dreamin' paper packet and C1429 Party Pennants stamp set.
So...who's it going to? It just might show up in your mailbox! Happy Birthday - Friend!
