We have survived a year that will go down in history...and I am SO ready to say good riddance to 2020!  It has been a crazy year, full of change - a global pandemic, the toilet paper crisis, social distancing, wearing masks, hand sanitizing, quarantine, safer at home and the cherry on top - a presidential election.  Phrases like curbside pick up, working from home and online shopping all have a new meaning in 2020!  I am hoping 2021 looks better for all of us, and most importantly, getting to spend time with you again...in person!!!

I wanted to connect with you to make sure you aware of ALL the wonderful happenings at CTMH! I would hate to have you miss out on any of the goodness!  Of course, it is never my intention to have you purchase ALL of these kits and specials...CTMH only wants to make sure there is something for everyone!  If anything has become clearer than ever over these past several months is just how vital Close To My Heart is, as we manage through this pandemic. Oh my...

NEW PRODUCTS GALORE!  So many new and exciting products are in store, here is a quick look at some of the biggest product announcements:

• Standard paper packets will consist of 6 patterned papers instead of 12.  You will also have the choice between a paper packet that includes a 12x12 coordinating sticker sheet and a paper packet without. No more fussy cut sheets!

Announcing the NEW Autumn/Winter 2013 Idea Book

It's FINALLY here...and all the fabulous new products inside too!

Many of you have already received your copy of the new catalog, but if you haven't, it's still not too late!  Simply contact me, and we can make arrangements to get you a copy of your very own!

Every catalog release, I have a Catalog Celebration party introducing the new product line.  This year was no exception.  We play CTMH Bingo, I give away prizes, we create a project or four, enjoy treats, and the best part is drawing for mystery hostesses!  It's always a BLAST!

This year, I wanted to show as much new product as possible...so we created 4 cards! 

The first card uses the new Huntington papers (love them!) and the new Always Grateful stamp set.  The tree was stamped in 2nd generation Olive ink and the sentiment was stamped directly over in Slate.  I often forget about this technique...but I love the outcome!  The metal flower embellishment is from the new Base & Bling Floral Accents.

The next card is one of my favorites.  It uses an overlay from the new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge...AMAZING!!!  The Artbooking Cartridge is going to change scrapbooking forever!  Ok, back to the card...the overlay is from Artbooking, page 82 (Overlay, <AllBoy>, cut at 4-1/2") from black cardstock.  Each strip behind the overlay is cut at 1/2" x 4-1/2" from the new Laughing Lola papers.  The middle images were also cut from Artbooking page 82 (Photo Mat 1, shift <Football>) at 3" for the purple, 2-3/4" for the black and 2-1/2" for the white cardstock.  The stamped images are from the new All the Details stamp set (so versatile).  The base of the card was cut from Lagoon CS at 5"x 10" with top fold.  The embellishments are Teal Jewels and Sparkle Flourishes-Small.

This card uses the new Babycakes papers, and I added the Lagoon cardstock to change the feel of the papers.  The stamp images are from the new Love This stamp set, and the sentiment is from the new Holiday Tags stamp set (perfect for home-made gift tags!)  I love how the poppy flowers really 'pop' off the card!  I also used the new Bronze Shimmer Trim for some added bling, and the center of the flowers uses the new ProPlayer Assortment embossed metal badge buttons.

Finally, can you tell I'm excited about the hexagons on Artbooking!  This card is overloaded with hexagons!  I used the new hexagon B&T Duo paper from ProPlayer, a hexagon image border from Artbooking page 66 (Border, <l>, cut at 5"), the new hexagon irresistables,  and the happy birthday sentiment is from the new mini stamps Heartfelt Birthday Wish, and finally accessorized using the new Slate Striped Twist Ties (who would of thunk it!).   I stamped the birthday sentiment twice, the top half first in Ruby ink, then without stamping, inked the bottom portion in Outdoor Denim.  When you do this technique, just make sure you start with the lightest color first, so you don't contaminate your lighter color stamp pad.  There is a great masculine feel to this card.  Overall size is 6x6 from Slate Cardstock (cut at 6"x12" and folded in half).

As each new Idea Book is introduced...I host a Catalog Celebration for customers to be the first to see the new product line.  We always have lots of fun, as I share new product with them, and play a game of CTMH Bingo with fantastic prizes of course! I gave each person in attendance a special treat using the new Paper Pouches...actually the m&m's were their Bingo markers, then they could eat them!

I used our Spray Pen with Sunset reinker to spritz the Paper Pouch, wrapped the pouch with the new Claire paper, and added the sentiment from the 'For a Friend' stamp set.  So cute!

Then I give them a chance to create one 12x12 page using new product and accessories.
Here's what we created at my Catalog Celebration recently using the new Later Sk8r paper (love it!):

A close-up of the title...using our new Slate Polka Dot Washi tape.  The "Hello" sentiment is cut on the Artiste Cricut cartridge, and outlined using our journaling pens.  I also love the new Green & Blue Epoxy Bubbles.  "Life" comes from the 'A Journey' stamp set.

 Another new product,  I showcased on this page, is our new Spinners.  These are so fun to decorate...and so easy too!  The spinner comes apart, so you can stamp directly on the base.  The spinner is a 3-1/2" circle...and has a coordinating stamp set, Wheel of Life.  You can also see here, the new Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon. The Chevron pattern is SO popular these days.
