The team at Close To My Heart has worked tirelessly to get these products together, as these events and products have only recently been developed, as the COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we do things.  Every level at CTMH, from Product Development, Product Designs, Creative Services, Art Department, Marketing and the Warehouse Staff have outdone themselves to allow us to create artwork (even for essential workers - check out the card bundles below!) during this time.

VIRTUAL NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY FACEBOOK LIVE - FREE!

The month of May brings us National Scrapbooking Month...but CTMH is offering a FREE National Scrapbooking Day Facebook Live event from 11am-11pm (MDT) on Saturday, May 2nd.  It's shaping up to be a fabulous, fun-filled way to kick off National Scrapbooking Month!  This event is open to EVERYONE who wants to join us on the Close To My Heart Facebook page for the festivities!

The bulk of the time on this broadcast will focus on a variety of creative projects - SIX IN ALL - designed to appeal to the wide range of crafting interests and abilities!  CTMH will be offering an optional bundle of products for each project, so that you can have the materials to create each project right along with us!  Cutting instructions and detailed instructions will be available soon to DOWNLOAD for each project.  It's also been mentioned, a schedule of events will be handed out so we know at what time each bundle will be demonstrated.

While you don't need any of these bundles or products to participate in the Facebook Live event, having these supplies on hand will make it possible to create the same projects being demonstrated during the day.  The video will remain available on the CTMH Facebook page after the Live portion has ended to watch again, if needed.

VIRTUAL ALBUM RETREAT



After National Scrapbooking Day,  another event will be the VIRTUAL Album Retreat taking place May15th & May 16th.  This event was originally planned as an in-person event for Consultants only to be held at the Home Office in Utah, but now will be hosted in a PRIVATE Facebook Group instead for CUSTOMERS and CONSULTANTS alike.  There will be no registration fee to participate in this event; instead the only cost for participation will be the cost of the Album Retreat bundle.

May 2020 Album Retreat Bundle (#EB20201, $250 USD)

In addition to the cost of materials, the price of this bundles also includes expenses related to the preparation work of PRE-CUTTING and packaging pieces for the projects.  YES - all pre-cutting pattern pieces and accent pieces and packaging them by layout to save you time and to allow time to focus on the techniques and assembly during the time together.  For this event, CTMH has also opted to waive the cost of the two full days of instruction that would normally be assessed, making this bundle an exceptional value for all participants of this event.

Once you have purchased the bundle, you will receive an email from the Home Office with instructions for joining the Facebook Group for the event.

The Album Retreat Bundle will be shipped on May 1st; however, it is recommended to place your order by April 30th, in order to allow time for your project supplies to be delivered before the start of the event.  The bundle will be remain available for orders beyond this date, while supplies last, though cannot ensure it's timely delivery.  Because the bundle will be shipped separately from other items, there will be a standalone shipping charge assessed when ordering.

APRIL SPECIALS and More!

Hello Friends~

It's APRIL FOOLS DAY!  Do you play pranks on friends and family? Do you have family traditions on this day? Growing up, as best as I recall, we never really did anything out of the ordinary on April Fools Day, it was only the day before my sister's birthday.  I'd love to hear your stories!

It's crazy how quickly our lives have been disrupted in just a few short weeks.  How are you handling our "stay at home" orders?  As many of you know, with dental offices being closed for non-emergency procedures, I've been home since March 19th.  Ken has been home on "earned time off" since March 21st.  Being an over-the-road truck driver, staying put for any length of time is very challenging for him.  So yesterday, he wanted to jump in the corvette and go for a "Sunday drive" on a Tuesday! LOL  We headed south to Pueblo, from there to La Junta where it was 78*, so we took the top off the car, absorbed some Vitamin D and cruised around, staying in the car except to get out and stretch.  It was a beautiful day for a drive and being able to continue practice social distancing.

At CTMH, it's still business as usual, although that could change at a glance.  I want to keep you informed of our monthly specials, and even though we can't meet in person, I will be focusing on Seas the Day paper suite for April.  I was so excited to be able to use this paper for my Tahiti trip, which was scheduled for April 15th-23rd, and fortunately has been rescheduled for October 2020, and not completely cancelled altogether.

Now, more than ever, let's preserve this time in a scrapbook - it's something we've never experienced in our lifetime.  I'm doing my best to journal every couple of days, and save some of the meme's that are continually shared on FB.  I'm going to do a pocket scrapbook to preserve this time, since I actually have the time now, being at home, and it's a great distraction, even though I'm scrapbooking this crazy virus that is changing our lives.  Want to join me, virtually of course?!

I'm going to do my best to offer virtual classes and some additional FB Lives in my VIP group to be able to connect with you during this time.  I miss seeing all of you in person.  We will get through this and I plan to have a POST-PANDEMIC CROP and we will be able to scrapbook together again!
