This entire week, I'll be showcasing cards we created for our ShoeBox Swap during last weeks team training. What's a shoebox swap, you ask? Each time a new catalog is released, our group does a swap using new papers and a new stamp set. Each of us creates one card, and supplies all the papers and embellishments for everyone participating to re-create the card. All these products are put into a Shoebox (portable tote of some sort) so it can be passed around the group...that's where it gets its name. It's a great way to have all sorts of new artwork to show off...and you only had to come up with one idea!
So here's today's 3-1/2" x 8" card - designed by Anne-Marie Pitcock.
This card uses the
New Arrival stamp set, found on page 87 in the Spring/Summer Idea Book. I also like the way she used B&T papers from 2 different paper packs (
Florentine and
Stella). The color combo here is Chocolate, Twilight and Tulip.
